Dubai, April 14th 2010: The UAE football association have launched a grass roots football coach education program aimed at improving the standard of coaching in the grass roots.
All of the UAE Clubs were invited to send their aspiring coaches to begin their coaching careers and improve the level of their coaching delivery by obtaining the fundamental coaching skills necessary to develop the future UAE football talents.
Over 30 applicants have enrolled on the weeklong intensive program being held at the Al Maktoum Stadium of the Al Nasr Football Club.
Bernhard Schumm, Director of Coaching and Development for the UAE Football Association is implementing a new standard across the UAE and has been conducting the lectures and training sessions with a complete emphasis on football education.
