African Academies at Al Nasr Club concludes its activities ...White Wolves crowned champions

Today, Friday, the African Academies Championship hosted by Al-Nasr Club concluded its activities, with the participation of Al-Nasr teams under 19 years and 17 years,MSK Zalina and Gardens United (B) under 19 years, White Wolves and Gardens United (A) under 17 years.

  White Wolves team was crowned the champion of the tournament by defeating its counterpart Zalina 2-1, and Al-Nasr Under19 team ranked third by beating Al-Nassr U-17 team 4-1.

The coronation ceremony of the winning team took place in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Al-Daleel, Director of the Football Academy at Al-Nasr Club, who congratulated the winners and handed them the golden medals and the championship cup and took memorial photos with the participating teams. MSK Zalina team presented a commemorative shield to Al-Nasr Club as an expression of their thanks for the warm reception, welcome and organization .

Al-Dalil said on the coronation ceremony: “This Ramadan tournament is an annual tournament that the Al-Nasr Club Football Academy used to organize, it stopped for a while due to the conditions of the Covid 19 pandemic, and currently it has resumed, the Football Academy decided that the competitions should take place with the participation of academies from inside and outside UAE, Especially from Africa such as Ghana and Senegal, and we achieved the desired goals, as we gave the opportunity to players who did not have the opportunity to participate in the league to play to discover their talents, and prepare for the upcoming competitions in the new season. Next season, we plan to invite teams from the Europe to participate in our activities, which reflects a bright image of Al Nasr Club and the Emirate of Dubai.

He added, "We hope that this tournament will be a role model in the future. We have involved players of different ages to gain experience and contact, develop their skills and abilities, and strengthen them to increase their chances of brilliance and success in the future."
