H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Chairman of Dubai Aviation is the Vice Chaiman of Al Nasr and Chairman of honorary board which consists of main supporter for the club. Shiekh Ahmed was Chairman of the board for Al Nasr in the mid nineties till a decree was issued to appoint him in 2006 as Vice Chairman of Al Nasr Club. Shiekh Ahmed headed the U.A.E. Olympian Committee from 2006 to 2008, during that period many acheivments and milestones in both team and individuals sports were achieved in U.A.E. Sheikh Ahmed pays a lot of attention to U.A.E. sport movement. As Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation & Emirates Airlines, Sheikh Ahmed sponsored many international sporting events such as World Cup, Asian Cup, rugby, Golf, and international horse riding races.
