Al Nasr athletics team emerged as champions of the Vice President's Cup for Youth and Junior Athletics for the 2023-2024 season with merit and deserving victory. Their remarkable achievement included 3 gold medals in the youth category for:    Nasser Saeed Al-Kathiri in hammer throw    Edward Ananas in long jump    Mazen Essam Abdelmoneim in discus throwIn the juniors category:    Abdullatif Ismail Al-Sabri secured gold in the 1000 meters and relay    Afeef Ahmed Abdul Latif achieved gold in high jump and relay, along with a bronze in triple jump    Mohammed Adel Hassan Ganem earned gold in hammer throw and shot put    Mohammed Fahim won silver in shot put    Zayed Saeed Al-Kathiri claimed silver in hammer throw    Mohammed Rashid Ganem achieved silver in long jump, silver in 300 meters, and gold in relay    Mohammed Ali Mohammed grabbed silver in 200 meters hurdles and gold in relay. 

Al Nasr sports games company celebrated this evening athletics team on winning the H.H. President's Cup championship which took place last Friday.The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Bushawarb chairman Al Nasr Sports Games Company and his deputy Mr. Abdul Razzaq Al Hashemi and Mr. Mohammed Ali Al Aawar CEO of the company and Mr. Mahmoud Al Awadhi Head of Resources and Support Section, and technical and administrative staff and players of the athletics team.

The first individual challenge championship for athletics concluded its activities in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Murr, President of the Emirates Athletics Federation and his deputy, Fahd Abdullah bin Juma .The tournament was held at the Officer's Club in Dubai  for two days .The first day was devoted to the cubs and juniors, and the second day to the public and youth  category With the participation of the athletics team in Al-Nasr Club, whose players won 24 colourful medals with merit.A fantastic accomplishment that demonstrates the dominance of athletics at Al-Nasr Club and the determination of its athletes to reach the podiums.The outcomes of the championships Al Nasr won are as follows:General category: 3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze medalsYouth category: 2 gold - 3 silver medalsJunior Category: 6 Gold - 5 Silver medalsCubs category: 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze medals

 Al Nasr athletics team continued its dominance and control over all the top positions in the competitions that took place during the National Championship held at the Police Officers Club from 31 March to 1 April. Al-Nasr won the first place in the men's category with a big difference of 225 points. Al-Ain came second with 68 points and Al Wasl third with 65 points.In the 100-meter race, Nigerian Ojo won the gold medal with a time of 10.49 seconds. His teammate Naseeb Salmin came in second place and in the 200 meters, Salmin won the gold in 21 seconds. In the 400 meters and 800 meters, Maiof Ibrahim get first place.In the category of disc throw, the hero, "Ahmed Ali Hassan" get first place and gold medal, in the category of overthrow of the hammer, "Hassan Abdel-Jawad" gets gold medal and his colleague Mohammed Omar silver.In the 10000 meter race, Samir Ajawar won gold and Sufian Massoudi won the 400m hurdles gold. Al Nasr team won the gold in 4x400m race with the participation of players Naseeb Salameen, Mayouf Ibrahim, Saleh Abdulrahman and Sufian Massoudi.Mr. Ahmed Hashim Khoury, Vice Chairman of Al Nasr Club, Mr. Abdulrahman Obaid Abu Al Shawareb, Chairman of Al Nasr Sports Games Company and Mr. Abdul Basit Ali Abdulrahman, Board Member and Media Center Supervisor, And Mr. Mohamed Ali Al-Awar Executive Director of Al-Nasr Sports Company participated in the coronation ceremony of the heroes.

The West Asian Junior Badminton Championships, which was held in the State of Kuwait with the participation of 9 teams, concluded its activities. Al-Nasr Club player Maryam Al-Hamid won the bronze medal in the women's singles category under 15 years.The coronation ceremony was attended by Ms. Noura Al Jasmi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Badminton Federation, member of the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Investment Company.Maryam is expected to participate in the Arab Badminton Championship, which will start from 8 to 12 November, and win more medals.

Distinguished results achieved by Al-Nasr team in UAE specialized championship for athletics, a great achievement for Al Nasr, recorded in letters of gold. After clear control and superiority of the team players in the championship that was held on January 29 and 30, 2022 at Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled in Sharjah, and took the first place deservedly in the cubs and youth categories.The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, and the President of the Athletics Federation, Mr. Mohammed Al Murr, crowned the winners.The victory of AL Nasr team came with 12 medals in the cubs, and 13 for the youth.It was distributed as follows, and at the individual level:Youth :Player Jamal Al-Din Abdul Rahman golden medal in the 400-meter, and 400-meter(hurdels).Player Hazza Khaled Obaid is a gold medalist in the 1500m race ,and a silver in the 800m race.Player Khan Tosen got a gold medal in the shot put, and a gold in the discus throw.Player Hamdan Nasser Masoud is a gold medalist in overthrowing the hammer.The relay team 4 in 100 meters golden medal, and the participating players are: Abdul Rahman Saif Al-Din, Sultan Nasser Masoud, Saeed Muhammad Nour and Zayed Khalid Obaid.The relay team 4 in 400 meters ,golden medal and the players are: Sultan Nasser Masoud, Jamal Eddin Abdul Rahman, Hazza Khalid Obaid, Zayed Khalid Obaid.Player Saeed Nour ranked silver medal in the long jump, and bronze medal in triple jump.player Abdul Rahman Seif Al-Din bronze medal in the 100 meters and 200 meters competitions.Outside the race, the player Salman Madian took part in toppling the hammer, achieving first place.Cubs:Player Naresh Kumar won the gold in the 60-meter hurdles, silver in the 100-meter sprint.Player Shirvet Joseph, a gold medalist in the shot put, and a gold in the discus.Player Omar Mustafa Al-Khalafawy gold medalist in the competition to overthrow the hammer.player Punic Alex is gold medalist in the javelin throwing competition, and gold  medalist in the 300-meter race.Relay team 4 x 50 meters gold medal for players: Artarch Kumar, Maktoom Muthanna, Ali Adnan and Younis Mohamed Youssef.Golden Medal for Relay Team In the mixed relay race, the players are: Bouzik Alex, Youssef Mohamed Youssef, Maktoom Muthana and Ali Adnan.Player Ali Adnan silver in the 60 meters hurdles.

A unique achievement for Al-Nasr Club in Athletics .Al-Nasr Club continued to impose its supremacy in athletics and its absolute dominance on the leading positions and podiums, as the athletics teams in the club achieved an unprecedented achievement, as its players won 42 medals in the two championships of the President’s Cup for youth and men season 2021-2022 and the elite championship for cubs And the junior competition, which was held in the city of Abu Dhabi and organized by the UAE Athletics Federation in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council .Its competitions took place on November 18, 19 and 20, amid intense competition with the participation of 22 clubs.The total number of medals achieved by Al Nasr players was as follows :16 medals for the men’s category: 8 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze12 medals for the youth category: 11 gold and 1 bronze9 medals for the junior category: 4 golds and 5 silversCubs category  :4 gold and 1 silverObvious control for Al Nasr, distinguished results, and a great achievement that show the club superiority in the field of Athletics ,and the high fighting spirit of his players, their enthusiasm and determination to win and overcome all obstacles and difficulties ,and the extent of the interest of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Club and the Sports Games Company in the athletics sector in the club And the great efforts made by the players and the technical and administrative staff to maintain Al Nasr supremacy, take the lead, win titles, and achieve impressive and distinguished results in the competitions of Athletics.

Al-Nasr Athletics team continued its brilliance and imposed its absolute control over all the first places in the competitions of the UAE  athletics teams championship for men and juniors that was held in February 5 and 6, 2022 at Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled in Sharjah. With merit, the junior team won 10 medals, and the men  team won 12 medals.The tournament was scheduled for March 2022, but for some reasons the date was suddenly changed, and the club was notified by the federation in a very short time, as the team could not prepare for this tournament to the fullest, and 4 of the team members did not participate in the tournament due to their infection with Covid 19, and they are key players in the team.The President of the Athletics Federation, Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Murr, discussed with the Supervisor of Athletics Mr. Badr Ibrahim Al-Hashemi planning for new programs and systems that will help and qualify all clubs in developing and motivating athletics in UAE.The winners were honoured by the President of the Athletics Federation, Mr. Mohamed Al-Murr, with medals and handed over the cup.The results came as follows:Junior category: 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 3 bronze medals.Men's category: 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals, 2 bronze medals.

After the athletics team won 42 coloured medals in the Cup of His Highness the President of the State and the Elite Championship, and preserved the Cup of His Highness the President of the State for Athletics for the tenth consecutive season, the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Club honoured the team's champions.The honouring ceremony took place in the presence of His Excellency Marwan bin Ghalita, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Sports Club, His Excellency Ibrahim Al-Fardan, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Sports Club, His Excellency Jamal Lootah and Mansour Al-Falasi, members of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Sports Club, and His Excellency Abdul Razzaq Al-Sayed Al-Hashemi, member of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Club and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Sports Games Company.The honouring ceremony was also attended by His Excellency Marwan Singel ,Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Sports Games Company, and His Excellency Qasim Mohammad Al-Naimi, Muhamed Abdul-Rahim Fredoni and Dr. Ahmed Al-Mutawa, members of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Sports Games Company, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Janahi, Executive Director of Al-Nasr Sports Company, and the players of the athletics team and the technical and administrative staff .The players technical and administrative staff  were thanked for the amazing achievement of the athletics team ,the importance of working to uphold Al Nasr's dominance and leadership in the athletics  competitions  was also emphasized in order for the athletes to be motivated to win in the future, and raise Al Nasr's flag during the upcoming  games, and  the club's board of directors constant work to provide assistance and overcome challenges in the field of Athletics , so Al Nasr will keep its dominance on this sport that it mastered with a merit and an advantage .
