Players from Al Nasr Sports Club teams expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the club, for his warm reception and congratulations following their championship victories during the 2025–2026 sports season.
In a grand celebration reflecting unlimited support for sports and athletes, and reinforcing Al Nasr Club’s status as one of the leading pillars of the UAE sports movement, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Al Nasr Sports Club, received the club’s team and individual sports squads, whose remarkable efforts produced a historic and exceptional season filled with achievements, culminating in an impressive haul of 25 local championships during the 2025–2026 sports season.
His Excellency Abdulrazzaq Al Sayed Al Hashimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Sports Games Company, welcomed a delegation from the UAE Handball Federation headed by His Excellency Saud Ibrahim Saleh, President of the Federation, as part of efforts to strengthen mutual cooperation and exchange ideas aimed at developing handball and supporting its continued success during the upcoming phase.
The Board of Directors of Al Nasr Sports Games Company, chaired by His Excellency Abdulrazzaq Al Sayed Al Hashimi, with Vice Chairman Mr. Abdulbasit Ali Abdulrahman, and board members Mr. Salem Bin Ali, Mr. Mohammed Matar Al Jumeiri, and Dr. Faisal Al Tawaash, held a meeting to review the progress of the current sports season, during which the club has so far secured 22 championships across various sports, while its teams continue to compete for several upcoming titles.
Al Nasr Club was crowned champion of the second edition of the National Handball Cup for the 2025–2026 sports season, after defeating Al Dhaid in the final match with a score of 35–29.
Al Nasr secured a well-deserved and impressive victory in a thrilling match against their guest, Shabab Al Ahli, with a score of 83–81
Al Nasr (“Al Ameed”), the defending champions, moved a step closer to the UAE Basketball Cup final after securing a dominant 95–74 victory over Al Bataeh in the first leg of the semi-final.
Al Nasr fell to a defeat against visiting Shabab Al Ahli in the second leg of the UAE Men’s Basketball League final, held today evening at Rashid bin Hamdan Hall at Al Nasr Club.
On a night filled with pride and honor, the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Sports Company hosted a recognition ceremony for the men’s first volleyball team.
The draw for the UAE Men’s Basketball Cup has resulted in a strong matchup between Al Nasr and Al Wasl in the first round of the tournament, which features the participation of 8 clubs.
In the youth category, the draw placed Al Nasr against Al Wahda in the Youth Cup competition.
