  • Al Nasr Volleyball Team claimed the UAE Men’s League title for the 2025–2026 season after defeating Al Jazira 3–1 in the decisive match held at Al Ain Club Hall.With this victory, “Al Ameed” secured its ninth league title and ended a wait for the championship that dates back to the 2020–2021 season. The team showed composure in the key moments of the match to seal a deserved triumph.Al Nasr’s path to the title included a dramatic 3–2 win over Al Ain in the semifinal playoff, followed by a competitive final series against Al Jazira. After winning the first match 3–0 and narrowly losing the second 3–2, the title was ultimately decided in the final encounter where Al Nasr delivered a strong performance.The league triumph also completes a remarkable double for Al Nasr this season, having earlier lifted the UAE Federation Cup after defeating Bani Yas in the final.The team was crowned by Abdullah Juma Al Darmaki, President of the UAE Volleyball Federation, in the presence of Sheikha Shamsa bint Hasher Al Maktoum and several sports officials, alongside the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Sports Games Company led by Chairman Abdulrazzaq Al Hashimi and Vice Chairman Abdulbasit Ali.

  • On a night filled with pride and honor, the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Sports Company hosted a recognition ceremony for the men’s first volleyball team, celebrating the remarkable achievement of winning the domestic double this season, securing both the League Championship and the Federation Cup.The ceremony was attended by H.E. Abdulrazzaq Al Hashemi, Chairman of the Board, alongside Vice Chairman Abdulbasit Ali, and board members Salem bin Ali, Mohammed Matar Al Junaibi, and Dr. Faisal Al Tuwash. Also present were Farid Al Qayouani, CEO of the company, Jassim Sarour Al Qamzi, supervisor of the volleyball team, as well as the families of the professional players who shared the joy of this special occasion.Al Hashemi: “Al Nasr Returns Stronger with the Efforts of the Loyal”In his speech to the players and the technical and administrative staff, H.E. Abdulrazzaq Al Hashemi expressed his deep pride in this achievement, stating: “I thank you all for your exceptional efforts throughout the season. Winning both the league and the cup is a great accomplishment that would not have been possible without the dedication of the players and the efficiency of the technical staff. Winning the league is never easy in any sport, but with you, Al Nasr will always come back stronger.”He also extended special thanks to the head coach, emphasizing that maintaining these achievements is the next challenge, adding: “We want you to always remain united. In the coming season, we will continue to support the team to retain these titles. I also convey to you the greetings and full appreciation of the club’s board for what you have achieved.”Abdulbasit Ali: “Nothing is Impossible for the Al Nasr Family”For his part, Vice Chairman Abdulbasit Ali described the season as full of challenges, praising the team’s unity and spirit. He said: “Our motto in Dubai is always ‘Impossible is possible,’ and at Al Nasr Club we are part of a community that continuously strives for excellence and achievement. We adopt this slogan as our approach and a constant goal to keep winning titles. The secret behind this success is working as one family. We are proud of you at the great Al Nasr Club.   • This evening, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Al Nasr Sports Club, received the club’s Board of Directors led by Engineer Marwan bin Ghalita, Chairman of the Board, along with H.E. Humaid Ahmed Al Tayer, First Vice Chairman, H.E. Ibrahim Hussain Al Fardan, Second Vice Chairman, members of the Board, the boards of the club’s three subsidiaries, and the volleyball team in celebration of their victory in the UAE Cup for the 2024–2025 sports season.The Club Chairman congratulated the volleyball team on this remarkable achievement, praising the players for their strong performance and high team spirit throughout the tournament, which ultimately led to their well-deserved title win. He also expressed his appreciation for the significant efforts made by the Board in developing various sports and enhancing the club’s technical and administrative standards.He urged everyone to continue working as one team and to double their efforts in pursuit of further achievements, aiming to raise Al Nasr's flag high on championship podiums.
