Our team secured a thrilling 3-3 draw in a challenging encounter against Khorfakkan on Saturday evening at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium, as part of Matchweek 23 of the ADNOC Pro League.
The match was filled with excitement and momentum shifts throughout both halves. The hosts took an early lead with two goals from Lourency in the 21st and 34th minutes. However, Al Ameed responded strongly, as Marwan Azarkan reduced the deficit in the 36th minute after a VAR review and then leveled the score with a brilliant header in the 43rd minute, ending the first half at 2-2.
At the start of the second half, Khorfakkan regained the lead with a third goal by Aylton in the 53rd minute. But our player Ahmed Jashak brought the game back to level terms once again, scoring Al Ameed’s third goal in the 67th minute following a well-organized attacking play that he finished with a powerful strike into the net.
With this result, Al Nasr raises its tally to 34 points and sits in sixth place on the league table, while Khorfakkan climbs to 32 points in eighth place.
