Al Nasr, Al Wahda held in the positive draw

A positive draw with two goals for each team held between Al Nasr and Al Wahda on Friday evening at Al Maktoum Stadium in the 12th round of the Arabian Gulf League, bringing the Al Nasr’s balance with this draw to 24 points in third place.

The start of the match was quick and exciting, Al Nasr almost took the lead in the 2ndminute after Kuwas gave an elaborate pass to his colleague Tegali, who deftly dodged the goalkeeper and hit the ball, but it hit the post and turned outside the goal, Diaa Sabaa scored the first goal for the Blues in the 9th minute, after turning Ryan Mendes' cross header to settle in the net of Al Wahda announcing the first goal of the match.

Al Nasr's players continued their offensive pressure in search of enhancing the result with the second goal, It was almost achieved by Tegali in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper cleared it away for a corner kick, in the 15th minute, Kuwas hit a powerful shot, but it passed by the goalkeeper's left post, in the 25th minute, Kuwas again passed an elaborate ball to Mohamed Fawzi while he was alone with the goal, but he shot in the hands of the goalkeeper.

The match referee awarded a penalty for Al Wahda after returning to video technology in the 37th minute, Mpoko stepped up to pay it but Ahmed Shambih saved it, Shambih continued to defense the goal strongly and cleared a well-done shot from a direct free kick by Al Wahda player to maintain the lead of the Al Nasr in the first half of the match.

At the start of the second half, Al Wahda players attacked, seeking to correct the result, and Shambih managed to save a powerful shot from Tahnoun Al Zaabi in the 48th minute, in the 50th minute Al Wahda scored the equalizer through Mpoko, Lee Myung added the Al Wahda's second goal with a perfect shot in the 59th minute, Tegali scored a second goal for the Al Nasr, but the referee canceled it after returning to video technology in the 68th minute, Lima almost equaled the score in the 77th minute, but his header passed by the post, and substitute Caique Jesus scored the equalizer for the Al Nasr in the 91st minute of the match, as the minutes passed and the referee whistled announcing the end of the match.
