Al Nasr beat Al Dhafra by Oumari's goal

Al Nasr managed to obtain three points after beating Al Dhafra 1-0 at the opening of the 17th round of Arabain Gulf League in the match held at Shabab Al Ahli Stadium in Al Aweer.

Al Nasr started the match with short and organized passes and control of the central area of ​​the field and on the other hand Al Dhafra relied on the apostates across the right side of the field.

Al Nasr came close to open the scoring in the "15th" minute when Jassim Yaqoub crossed the ball to Marcelo, which Al Dhafra's defense cleared for a corner, in 25th minute Fawaz Awana played a quick one two inside the box with Jasim Yaqoob before firing a shot that went inches from Al Dhafra's post.

Al Nasr increased attached after passing of 1st half an hour towards Al Dhafra's post, by the attempts of Marcelo and Jasim Yaqoub as well as with the movements of Ahmed Ibrahim and Tariq Ahmed.

Witht the Blues continous offensive moves, the referee announced the end of the first half of the game, which ended in a draw between by the two teams.

Al Nasr entered the second half without a change in the squad, an enthusiasm from both sides seen with mutual attacks in an attempt to open the scoring.

In the 58th minute, a great pass received by Jassem Yaqoub from left side, which Khalifa Mubarak and Fawaz Awana strong shot was saved by goalkeeper, before it came to Joan Oumari who made no mistake, striking it calmly into the net from inside the box, to score the first goal for Blues.

Al Nasr continued threats, in the 69th minute Tarek Ahmed almost added the second goal by receiving a great pass from Marcelo, but his strong shot voided by Al Dhafra's goalkeeper.

In the 76th minute, Jovanovic made the first change with Rashid Mohammed Omar replacing Jassim Yaqoub.

In the 90th minute, Jovanovic took the second subsituation, pushing Masoud Suleiman substitute for Marcelo.

With this result, the Blues reduced the points difference between the top teams by raising their tally to "29" points and managed to maintain the fourth place in the overall standings table.
