Al Nasr Club Explores International Cooperation Opportunities with Russia’s Zenit

Al Nasr Sports Club welcomed a high-level delegation from Russia’s Zenit Saint Petersburg in an official visit as part of the club’s strategy to strengthen international partnerships and exchange expertise with leading global sports institutions.

The Russian delegation was headed by Alexander Medvedev, CEO of Zenit Saint Petersburg, and included Alexander Serneev, Director of Development and Partnerships at Galaxy Sport Hub, along with several other members.

Representing Al Nasr Club were Abdullah Yousef Al Ali, Vice Chairman of Al Nasr Football Company, Mohammed Junaid Issa, Board Member of Al Nasr Investment Company, Dr. Hamed Rahma Al Falasi, CEO of Al Nasr Football Company, and Rocco Maiorino, Sporting Director. 

The visit began with a tour of Al Nasr Club Museum, where the delegation was introduced to the club’s rich history, achievements, future projects, and advanced facilities.

Following the tour, both sides held a meeting to discuss opportunities for mutual cooperation and ways to develop an integrated sports system. Discussions also focused on exchanging technical and administrative expertise, starting with football, and extending to other sports, supporting the ambitions of both clubs, and opening new horizons for sports collaboration.
