Al Nasr continues to win by defeating Ajman

Al Nasr managed a valuable 1-0 victory over Ajman at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium in matchweek 16 of the Arabian Gulf League.

The first half came in several attacks and individual attempts, especially from the right side through Ahmed Ibrahim with some attempts by Marcelo and Mahmoud Khamis from the other side, in contrast, Ajman relied on long passes from outside the penalty area.

The last minutes of the first half, there were some attacks from Ajman team but without a real threat on Al Nasr goal, but the half ended with a draw.

The second half began with mutual attempts between the two teams with a retreat to the defense zone on both sides.

In the 70th minute, coach Ivan replaced midfielder Ibrahim Abbas as substitute with Jassim Yaqoob.

As the game entered in the final minutes, Marcelo latched a powerful shot from the top of the penalty area to score the first goal for Al Nasr in the "76"minutes on a great pass received from Khalifa Mubarak in the center of the field. 

Al Nasr took over the tighter control after scoring the goal, in the 85th minute, Ivan Jovanović took 2nd subsituation by replacing Rashed Omar with Mubarak Saeed, followed by the third switch of Fawaz Awanah replacing Khalid Jalal.

Al Nasr managed to maintain the goal difference despite Ajman's attempts of draw and the defense was stronger against Ajman attacks, until the referee annoucned the end of the game with Al Nasr's 1-0 victory over Ajman

With this result Al Nasr raised their tally to 26 points with fourth place in the standings table
