Al-Nasr Crowned Champions of the 2024/25 Federation Table Tennis Cup

His Excellency Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Sports Company, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Club President, the Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, and all members of the Board on the occasion of our table tennis team’s victory in the Federation Cup, the first tournament of the 2024-2025 sports season. He emphasized that the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Sports Company is committed to providing all necessary resources for the success of both team and individual sports, working tirelessly to overcome any obstacles they face in their pursuit of championships and medals.

Al-Hashemi also highlighted the Board's dedication to nurturing young talent, ensuring they have ample opportunities to showcase and develop their skills, which will secure them a prominent future in sports, He noted that the current table tennis team exemplifies this commitment and serves as clear evidence of the success of the strategic plan developed for the team. This plan aims to build a new, competitive team capable of excelling alongside established players and achieving significant accomplishments.

The team rightfully claimed the Federation Cup for the 2024/2025 sports season after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Sharjah in the final match, held at Shabab Al-Ahly Club last Sunday. Their successful tournament run included impressive wins against RSA Academy (3-0), Shabab Al-Ahly Club (3-0), and Al-Wasl Club (3-0).

Men's Category: Michael Dobrowski (resident), Alexei Leventsov (resident), Issa Al-Balushi, Marwan Mansour

Youth Category: Annie Roud (resident), Muhammad Al-Haway, Abdullah Al-Haway

Junior Category: Ali Al-Hawai, Youssef Al-Hawai

Cubs Category: Mansour Al Mazrouei, Saeed Al Mazrouei

Under the leadership of Technical Director Shanki, the team achieved outstanding success. Al-Nasr player Ali Al-Hawai was honored as the Best Player in the Junior Category, and the team also received the Best Coach of the Year and Rising Talent awards.

The crowning ceremony, celebrating the “Al Nasr” their victory in the Federation Cup, was attended by Mr. Abdul Basit Ali, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sports Company, Mr. Muhammad Matar Al Jumairi, Board Member, and Mr. Farid Al Qaiwani, Executive Director of the Club Sports Company.
