Al-Nasr Football team won the under 15 yearsLeague Championship (A) after the end of its match today against Al-Wahda in the last round of the competition, which was held on sub-pitch No. 2 in Al-Nasr Club.
After the match, Mr. Juma Al Abdouli, a member of the Competitions Committee of the UAE Football Association, handed over the league shield and gold medals to technical and administrative staff and players, in the presence of His Excellency Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Football Company, and Messrs. Adel Shakri and Saeed Bou Samra, members of the Board of Directors Al-Nasr Football Company, and Ahmed Al-Daleel, Director of the Football Academy at Al-Nasr Club.
After the coronation, Mr. Mohamed Al-Marri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Football Company, congratulated the players on the victory, and demanded them to exert more effort and focus, as this victory is the beginning of a successful path that qualifies them to open the door to professionalism and stardom in the future, and stressed the importance of focusing on academic and educational commitment,as Al-Nasr Club gives a great importance to the age groups in the Football Academy, and focuses on achieving sporting and academic success at the same time.
Mr. Adel Shakri, member of the board of directors of Al Nasr Football Company and supervisor of the football academy at Al Nasr Club, said on the occasion of the coronation, : “We are happy with this victory and achievement, and we will remain focused on our primary goal, which is to escalate the players to the first team of Al Nasr Football Club, and to supply the UAE national team with players, and continue to win victories and championships.”
Ahmed Al-Dalil, Director of Al-Nasr Football Academy, expressed his joy at this achievement, and said: “It was a difficult season, especially after a long pause of about a year and a half due to the Covid-19 pandemic and its negative effects, but we came back strong and achieved the championship, despite all the obstacles. We hope that the academy teams will continue to achieve more successes and be the main source of players for the national team.”
Al-Nasr had won a championship in his favour, after obtaining 43 points, winning 14 matches, drawing one, losing 3, and scoring 50 goals.
