Al Nasr defeat Baniyas in ADNOC PRO League

In the nineteenth week of the ADNOC Pro League, Al-Nasr defeated its guest Baniyas with a score of 1-0 

Al-Nassr started the match with the following line-up: Ahmed Shambih _ Hussain Mahdi _ Samir Mimisevic _ Peniel Mlapa _ Abdelaziz Sanqour _ Tozi _ Ryan Mendes _ Glauber Lima _ Hamdan Al Kamali _ Adel Taarabt _ Rashid Omar.

Al-Nasr imposed pressure on  Baniyas and threatened its goal from the start, and in the 7th minute Tozi passed to Mlapa, but he did not succeed in scoring, and Mlapa almost scored in the 8th minute, but the defense sent the ball away.

In the 9th minute, Tozi played  a corner that reached Mlapa, but the goalkeeper sent the ball away, and then Rashid Omar passed to Adel Taarabt, who was not lucky enough to score.

In the 11th minute, Adel Taarabt played a header after a pass from Samir Mimisević, but he was  not lucky to score, and in the 14th minute, Ryan Mendez played a dangerous cross that was caught by Baniyas goalkeeper.

The most dangerous scoring opportunity for Al Nasr  was by Ryan Mendez in the 17th minute, with a powerful ball after an infiltration of Baniyas penalty area, but the goalkeeper pushed the ball away.

Al-Nasr continued to attack and score, but luck stubbornly resisted its players, despite the many opportunities they had in the first half.

In the second half, coach Goran Tomic made tactical substitutions, with Hussein Mahdi exit and Abdullah Anwar entrance, Abdoulaye Toure in place of Peniel Mlapa, Mohamed Barghash substituted  Rashid Omar, and Khaled Jalal  came in place of Abdullah Anwar, and goalkeeper Ahmed Shambih came out for injury , Abdulla Al Tamimi took his place .

Al-Nasr continued to pressure Baniyas, and the most dangerous opportunity was in the 59th minute with a header by Mlapa after a free kick played  by Tozi, but he was unable to score.

In the 71st minute, Adel Taarabt tried to penetrate Baniyas defense, but the defense tackled the ball , and in the 72nd minute, Samir Mimisević shot a powerful ball that hit the defense and turned into a corner.

In the 76th minute, Tozi opened the scoring in favor of Al Nasr from a penalty kick, Al Nasr players continued to attack, while Baniyas settled for a defensive block in front of the unlucky  attacks of the Al Nasr players, and the match ended with Al Nasr win over Baniyas with a clean goal  .
