Al Nasr defeat Khorfakkan in ADNOC Pro League

In the 23rd round of ADNOC Pro League at Al Maktoum Stadium, Al Nasr defeated Khorfakkan 2-1.

Al Nasr started the match applying pressure on Khorfakkan in search of the opening goal. Issac Tshikuna attempted to score in the 9th minute but was unsuccessful. Adel Taarabt also tried to score in the 10th minute after a pass from Glauber Lima, but luck was not on his side.

Khorfakkan scored in the 15th minute through Lourency Do Nascimento. AlNasr responded with attempts to equalize, the most dangerous of which was a powerful shot from Iuri Medeiros in the 34th minute that hit the post. Adel Taarabt almost scored with a header in the 40th minute but he missed.

In the 46th minute, Kevin Agudelo scored the equalizer for Al Nasr from a cross by Abdullah Abbas, rebounded off Khorfakkan's defence, hit the crossbar, and was forcefully followed into the net.

In the second half, Al Nasr's coach  Mr Alfred Schreuder made tactical substitutions, bringing on Manolo Gabbiadini, Yousef Al Ameri, Moussa Ndiaye, Mayed Al Teneiji, and Mohamed Jamal for Adel Taarabt, Mohamed Barghesh, Iuri Medeiros, Abdullah Abbas, and Evans Ampofo respectively.

In the 58th minute, Manolo Gabbiadini scored Nasr's second goal with a precise header following a cross from Kevin Agudelo.

Al Nasr continued their attacks, with Issac Tshikuna firing a powerful shot in the 60th minute that was blocked by the defence.

Nasr players kept pushing forward, but their attacks were not successful, and the match ended with Al Nasr winning 2-1.
