In their second friendly match during their training camp in Netherlands in preparation for the new 2024-2025 football season, Al Nasr defeated the Dutch team De Graafschap with a score of 2-1.
Al Nasr's goals were scored by star player Ali Mabkhout in the first half and substitute Iuri Medeiros in the second half.
Al Nasr's line-up for the first half was: Ahmed Shambih, Gustavo Alex, Samir Memisevic, Hussain Mahdi, Ali Mabkhout, Marouan Azarkan, Glauber Lima, Othmane Boussaid, Evans Ampofo, Adel Taarabt, and Junior Silva.
In the second half, coach Alfred Schreuder fielded a different line-up that included: Abdulla Al Tamimi, Mohammed Abdulrahman, Manolo Gabbiadini, Abdulla Abbas, Yousef Al Ameri, Kevin Agudelo, Abdoulaye Toure, Moussa Ndiaye, Rashid Omar, Zaid Osama, and Ali Abdulaziz.
It is noteworthy that Al Nasr will play a third friendly match before returning to Dubai, as part of assessing the players' readiness and evaluating the team's level. The friendly matches also aim to give new players the opportunity to integrate with the team and showcase their abilities. Moreover, these matches are designed to develop the skills and capabilities of the young players in the team by giving them valuable experience that enhances their technical and physical performance.
