Al Nasr continued its positive results and achieved a deserved victory over Hatta 2 - 1 in the match held this evening at Shabab Al Ahli Stadium ( Al Aweer ) for the 19th round of the Arabian Gulf League.
The Blues from start of the match entred into the Hatta's penalty area by Marcelo and Rashid Omar thanks to the passes of Ahmed Ibrahim from the left side, and on the other side Hatta relied on fast apostates.
In the 15th minute, Hatta team was able to score the lead through Amro Al Midani 's header.
After the first goal, Al Nasr team intensified the attacks in an attempt to modify the result. Marcelo almost scored the goal in the 29th minute when he hit a strong shot which saved by Hatta goalkeeper.
In 38th minute, Marcelo managed to modify the score for Blues when he took advantage of a pass by Rashid Omar from the center of the defenders of Hatta and translated into a great goal.
Immediately after the equalizer, Hatta almost came back and advanced through a quick counter-attack, but Ahmed Ibrahim managed to keep the ball away from the goal.
Both teams continued their attempts to add a second goal until the referee announced the end of the first half with a draw.
At the start of the second half, the two teams continued to counterattack and goalkeeper Ahmed Shambeh was able to save a dangerous ball in the first few minutes.
The Blues increased the pressure on Hatta team, both sides opened up several chances in order to add the second goal.
In the 70th minute, Jovanovic took the first subsituation, replacing Abdulaziz Barrada with Mohammed Sarwash.
Despite the decline of Hatta players defensive intensity, the Blues continued their attempts, in the minute "69th" Joan Al Omari almost scored a goal from a wonderful header which was saved by Abdullah Al-Qamish.
As the game entered into the last minutes, another great delivery from Ahmed found Omer who slotted in from point blank to give the Blues the full points with a valuable 2-1 win.
With this result, Al-Nasr raised its lead to 35 points, finishing third in the overall standings.
