Al Nasr ladies basketball team crowned the title "Mother of Nation" Cup

 Al Nasr ladies basketball team won the women's cup of H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak "mother of the nation" after winning the final match at the Sharjah Ladies Club 51/37 in the game held at Al-Jazira Club in Abu Dhabi.

 After the end of the game, the head of the basketball federation, Major General Ismail Gergawi, board member and chairman of the teams committee Osama Gargash, and Mitha bin Dawi, a member of board, honored the winners of the Al Nasr team and awarded them the championship and gold medals.

Hala Shehadeh, the team coach, expressed her happiness at the coronation. "The trophy bears a big name to everyone and victory of Al Nasr team is a source of pride for us," she also said. "We succeeded in getting full control of the game right from the beginning as a result of the players' understanding and commitment to the instructions"
