Al Nasr organizes a lecture for goalkeeper coaches in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council

In cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council ,and within the activities of the 8th annual coach meeting for Dubai clubs (21-22-23 March 2022), Al Nasr Club organized today a lecture for goalkeeper coaches at the Dubai Clubs academies entitled From match analyzation to training sessions, with the aim of improving the capabilities of coaches and goalkeepers as well .

The lecture was presented by Mr. Eric Johannes Alberts, technical supervisor for goalkeepers at Al Nasr Academy, and included performance analysis and training sessions for goalkeepers. The lecture was attended by goalkeeper coaches from the academies of Al Wasl, Shabab Al Ahli and Hatta teams.

The lecture was divided into two theoretical and practical parts, the theoretical part of it focused on how to analyze matches, taking into consideration the goalkeeper's age, ensure that the instructions given to the goalkeeper are appropriate for his age, solve problems during the match, and how to make the right decision while being between the three stands and communicating with defenders, And the need to choose the right place for the goalkeeper, to act, and have the courage to do the right thing for the goalkeeper, and the importance of right communication between the goalkeeper and other players, whether verbal or non-verbal, and how to properly deal with the ball inside the penalty area, And take the decision at the appropriate time and place to avoid any lapses or mistakes.

During the lecture, clips from the Al-Nasr Football Academy teams were displayed, and several discussions were held about them, and the practical section took place inside the training grounds, where the attendees watched the goalkeepers' training on the field.
Al-Nasr Club will host the training course for goalkeepers for 3 days.
