Al Nasr’s coach, Alfred Schreuder, confirmed that the upcoming match against Duhok from Iraq in the Gulf Clubs Champions League will be tough and exciting, especially with the expected fan attendance. He said, “We enjoy this atmosphere as it motivates the players to give their best performance. I’ve watched several matches of Duhok and know their coach well. They have distinguished players, especially in attack and on the wings.” Schreuder added that the team will miss Adel Taarabt due to illness, as well as Samir Mimsivich and Moussa Ndiaye due to injury. He noted that the match will not decide the battle for first place in the group, as there are three matches remaining.

Player Manolo Gabbiadini said, “We are happy to be here, and the match will be tough and important. We’ve watched Duhok’s matches and know their strength. As the coach mentioned, there are still three games left to determine which teams qualify for the semifinals. We’re here to play our football and strive for the win and the three crucial points.”
