Al Nasr qualify into the quarter-finals of the Arabian Gulf Cup

Al Nasr qualify into the  quarter-finals of the Arabian Gulf Cup after winning 2-1 away game to Al-Jazira in the Group B match held at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium.

The first half of the match as a whole between the two teams remained in terms of defensive caution, acquisition and offensive pressure, and each team started to be careful not to shake their net by relying on the counter-attacks that caused Hamad Hassan to get an early yellow card, prompting Jovanovic to replace him in the 17th minute with Mubarak Saeed, as the time went on, Al Nasr showed their desire to take precedence similar to all other matches of the competition played, in the 24th minute, Massoud Soliman translated the team's desire to achieve the goal through a neat head, in the 31st minute, Al Hussein Saleh replaced with Mohamed Ibrahim Al Jasmi, who was injured, after that the hometeam tried to equalize the result, but the defense of Al Nasr was vigilant to finish the first half with the progress of a clean goal.

Al Nasr continued its superiority in the second half, revealing its offensive power, in the 48th minute, Al Hussein Saleh set up a brilliant ball for Marcinios, which tackled brilliantly by the latter, scoring the second goal of the victory, in the 60th minute, referee Yaqoob Al Hammadi granted a penalty for Al Jazira, which enabled Leonardo Pereira to reduce the gap and achieve the first goal of the hometeam, after that both teams were relying on offensive attempts and counter-attacks, in the 81st minute Ali Hussein replaced by Habib Al Fardan.

Then the international referee Yaqoob Al Hammadi announced the final whistle for the end of the game after 5 minutes in injury time.
