Al-Nasr Sports Club has announced the completion of the transfer procedures for Italian striker Manolo Gabbiadini, who joins the team from Sampdoria in Italy to strengthen the team’s attacking line for the upcoming season.
The Italian player possesses significant experience in Serie A, as he began his football career with Atalanta, playing for them from 2009 to 2012. He was also loaned to Cittadella during the 2010-2011 season. In 2012, he moved to Juventus, later going on loan to Bologna before signing with Sampdoria in 2013 and then Napoli in 2015. In 2017, he had a professional experience in England with Southampton before returning to Italy in 2019 to rejoin Sampdoria.
During the last season, Gabbiadini played 35 matches with Sampdoria, scoring 7 goals and providing 2 assists.
On the international level, Gabbiadini represented the Italy Under20 and Under 21 years teams, as well as the senior men's team, for which he played 13 matches and scored 2 goals.
