Al-Nasr qualified for the quarter-finals of the President's Cup after defeating their guest Khorfakkan with a score of 1-0.
Al-Nasr started the match with the following line-up: Ahmed Shambih, Gustavo Alex, Samir Memisevic , Hussain Mahdi, Abdoulaye Toure, Iuri Medeiros, Yousif Al Ameri, Glauber Lima, Mayed Al-Teneiji, Moussa Ndiaye, and Adel Taarabt.
Al-Nasr exerted control over the game from the beginning, pressing on Khorfakkan in an attempt to score. In the 12th minute, Abdullah Tore attempted to score but was unsuccessful, and in the 25th minute, Adel Taarabt passed a cross that was cleared by the defence.
Al-Nasr continued their attempts to score in the first half, but their efforts were not successful.
In the second half, Al-Nasr started with more determination to achieve victory and secure qualification. Adel Taarabt shot a powerful ball in the 52nd minute but was unlucky, and Abdoulaye Toure penetrated Khorfakkan's penalty area in the 56th minute but was denied by the defence.
In the 64th minute, Adel Taarabt almost scored, but luck was not on his side. In the 86th minute, Kevin Agudelo came close to opening the scoring for Al Nasr but failed to do so.
In the 90th minute of the match, Adel Taarabt scored the winning goal for Al-Nasr after dribbling past three Khorfakkan players and striking the ball forcefully into the net, thus confirming Al-Nasr's qualification for the quarter-finals of the President's Cup.
