The board of directors of Al Nasr Sports Games Company held its first meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Razzaq Sayed Mohammed Al Hashimi, a member of the board of directors of Al Nasr Cultural Sports Club and chairman of the board of directors of Al Nasr Sports Games Company. The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdul Basit Ali Abdul Rahman, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Sports Games Company, Salem Mohammed Bin Ali, Faisal Hussein Al Tawash, and Mohammed Matar Al Jameeri, members of the board of directors, and Mr. Fareed Al Qaiwani, the executive director of Al Nasr Sports Games Company.
At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees appreciated the valuable trust bestowed upon them by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan Al Maktoum, the president of Al Nasr Cultural Sports Club. During the meeting, tasks were assigned to the members, and three athletes from track and field were honoured and congratulated on their remarkable achievements:
Nasser Al Kathiri, the national champion in youth hammer throwing and first place winner in the Vice President's Championship.
Abdul Latif Ismail Al-Hammadi, who set a new record in the 2000-meter race with a time of 6 minutes and 41 seconds.
Mohammed Adel Al-Ali, the national champion in the juniors category, who achieved a unique accomplishment in shot put and hammer throwing in the Vice President's Championship and was chosen as the best player in this category.
The board of directors praised their efforts, as well as the efforts of the coaching and administrative staff of Nasr Athletics, and urged them to exert more effort to achieve further accomplishments and raise the club's banner in all sports competitions they participate in.
