Goalless Draw Ends Al Nasr vs Al-Bataeh Encounter, Decider Postponed to Second Leg

The goalless draw settled our team’s encounter against Al-Bataeh, held this evening in the first leg of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup Round One at Al Maktoum Stadium.

Al Ameed started the match pressing hard in search of an early lead, but Al-Bataeh’s defense managed to block every attempt, ending the first half scoreless.

In the second half, head coach Slaviša Jokanović introduced several substitutions to increase control and intensify the attacking play. Doumbia came close to breaking the deadlock in the 56th minute with a powerful strike that hit the post, while VAR overturned a penalty decision for our team in the 66th minute.

The match concluded in a goalless draw, leaving the outcome to be decided in the second leg, scheduled for September 5.
