Jovanovic: Win over Emirates will be a good ending of exceptional and difficult season

Al Nasr Serbian coach Ivan Jovanovic has stressed the importance of the upcoming match against Emirates team in the 22nd and final round of the Arabian Gulf League.

"This season was an exceptional season for Al Nasr, where they suffered many injuries and absences in difficult times, which greatly affected the results of the team. In the second round, the players reacted more than expectation and managed to win six consecutive games", said Ivan.

"After the Emirates match, the players will get the leave and the return will be at the beginning of July in preparation for the start of the next season.", he added.

For his part, goalkeeper Mohamed Youssef said that the team developed significantly under the leadership of Ivan, despite the injuries, which removed many influential players from the starting line, but the team succeeded in successfully surpassing this stage.

When asked about his personal ambition for next season, he said: "I hope to be at good level and get the confidence and satisfaction of the coach in order to get a greater chance in the next season."
