Legal Workshop in Al-Nasr Football Company's Week

On the fifth day of Al-Nasr Football Company's week, a legal workshop was held under the supervision of the Dubai Sports Council, a workshop, titled "Updates on Player Agents Regulations," was presented by Mr. Mahmoud Osman, a specialist in sports law. Participants included members of the sports law department at the American University in the Emirates.

The workshop focused on introducing the regulations governing football player agents, the procedures agents must follow to obtain licensing, recent amendments to these regulations, as well as general aspects related to working as a football agent, including the obligations of agents and clients, and potential legal disputes that may arise in the future.

The presenter also discussed a ruling by the Dortmund Court in Germany, which led to a decision by FIFA to suspend the implementation of several provisions of the International Agents Regulations issued in October 2023, as per the circular sent to all national sports federations.
