Press Conference for Al Nasr vs Al Jazira Match in ADNOC Pro League

During the introductory press conference for the match between Al Nasr and Al Jazira in the first round of the 2023-2024 ADNOC Pro League, which will take place at Al Maktoum Stadium on the upcoming Saturday, August 19th, the head coach of our first team, Mr. Goran Tufegdzic, spoke about the team's atmosphere and preparations for the match. He was accompanied by the goalkeeper Ahmed Shambih.

Mr. Tufegdzic stated, "I am very happy to be coaching Al Nasr. It's a significant challenge for me, and I am optimistic and hopeful of achieving good results with the team. The abroad training camp in the Netherlands went well, and I am satisfied overall with the preparations for the new season. I feel the players' energy and their efforts in training, and I hope to secure a victory in the upcoming match."

He also directed a message to the Al Nasr fans, saying, "I am familiar with the Al Nasr fan base and what it represents. They are a loyal and passionate crowd that always supports the team. I thank them for their support. Their presence on Saturday is crucial for the team, especially as it's the first match of the season. I promise to give our utmost, and I hope we can achieve a good result and make them proud."

In turn, the goalkeeper Ahmed Shambih talked about the match and the players'  preparations for it, saying, "The preparation camp was excellent; we engaged in strong matches and got to understand the coach's philosophy. We are ready for the upcoming match and the new season."

He also conveyed a message to the Al Nasr fans, stating, " Al Nasr fans need no introduction; they are the team's steadfast supporters and advocates. We hope for their attendance to support the team in the stands."
