Schreuder and Azarkan United on the Challenge: We're Ready, Focused, and Aiming for Victory

The pre-match press conference was held today ahead of the upcoming game between Al Nasr and Khorfakkan, which will take place on Saturday, May 3rd at Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qasimi Stadium, as part of Matchweek 23 of the ADNOC Pro League.

At the beginning of the conference, Al Nasr head coach Alfred Schreuder expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance over the last three matches, stressing that the team is currently going through a positive phase and is aiming to continue achieving good results—despite being fully aware of the difficulty of the upcoming encounter.

Schreuder added: “We are facing a Khorfakkan side that has been performing strongly in recent games and possesses a sharp attacking line led by Tissoudali, in addition to several standout players across the pitch. We know how important it is to secure a win in this match, as it represents a key step toward our goal of finishing the season within the top six.”

For his part, player Marouane Azarkan confirmed the team’s readiness for the match, noting that preparations have gone as planned over the past few days. Azarkan said: “We’ve achieved back-to-back victories, which has given us a huge morale boost, and we are determined to maintain this positive momentum. Our goal is to win every match and finish the season in the best possible position.”
