In a grand celebration reflecting unlimited support for sports and athletes, and reinforcing Al Nasr Club’s status as one of the leading pillars of the UAE sports movement, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Al Nasr Sports Club, received the club’s team and individual sports squads, whose remarkable efforts produced a historic and exceptional season filled with achievements, culminating in an impressive haul of 25 local championships during the 2025–2026 sports season.
The reception was attended by several high-profile figures, led by His Excellency Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Al Nasr Sports Club’s Honorary Council, and His Excellency Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Sports Club. Also present were the newly appointed members of the Honorary Council, headed by Sheikh Maktoum bin Hasher Al Maktoum, who expressed great pride in joining this prestigious sports institution and affirmed their full commitment to unified efforts aimed at driving the club toward new horizons of sporting and community excellence.
The ceremony was also attended by members of the club’s Board of Directors and the Board of Directors of Al Nasr Sports Games Company, amid a festive atmosphere filled with pride in Al Nasr’s golden journey.
Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised all players, technical staff, and administrators who demonstrated the determination of champions in raising Al Nasr’s name high on the podiums. He stated: “This honorable achievement is not a coincidence, but rather the natural result of sound strategic planning, hard work carried out in a spirit of teamwork, and sustained support for the sports sector.”
Sheikh Rashid also urged everyone to continue striving and preserving these historic accomplishments so that Al Nasr remains at the forefront of success.
For his part, H.E. Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, member of the Honorary Council of Al Nasr Sports Club and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Honorary Council, praised the ambitious vision of Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which has helped establish an integrated institutional approach leading the path of development and excellence across various sports and activities. He noted that the club’s continued successes reflect strategic work based on sound planning, investment in talent, and the building of a competitive sports system capable of sustaining achievements.

Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita expressed his deep appreciation for the generous reception by the Club President, praising the model of integration and fruitful cooperation with the Honorary Council and the Executive Committee.
