As part of a series of religious lectures for Al-Nasr Football Company players from 14-19 years old, a lecture on sports ethics was held today, delivered by Mr. Saleh Zayed from the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department .
The lecture addressed many ethical aspects that contribute to achieving sporting achievements, and emphasized the importance of ethics and its role in the well-being of the individual and society, and adherence to the teachings of the Islamic religion, which always encourages good morals, humility, respect for everyone, and maintaining prayers.
The lecturer added that there are many surahs and verses in the Holy Qur’an about morals, their types and attributes, their role in refining behavior and improving the soul, and the reward and rewards that result from it in the afterlife.
The lecture also focused on a number of main topics, including enhancing aspects of sportsmanship, dealing with competitors in cases of victory and loss, avoiding harming others, whether by word or deed, and the importance of adhering to sportsmanship on and off the field, as sports were and still are an approach to high values and morals that An athlete must always have it.
