" Sports Integrity and Doping" workshop for players and administrators of the first football team at Al-Nasr Club

Within the requirements and standards of the UAE sports club licensing regulations, Al Nasr Club organized, through the technology of video communication (Zoom), a workshop entitled " Sports Integrity and Doping" for the players, coaches and officials of the first football team in the club.

The lecture was given by Mr. Benoit Basquier, who has extensive experience with FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation, during which he shed light on anti-doping regulations and their dangers and negative impact on the player's professional career. He also focused on the risks of manipulating results and betting, and explained the negative results, and penalties for violators of sports laws and regulations .

In addition, the work shop explained the prohibited behaviours’ in the world of football , and how to deal with suspicious sports activities and reporting them correctly to the competent authorities  to protect the player from any abuse that he might be exposed to in this aspect, and to raise awareness among players of the damages and risks that might affect the players lives and their sporting future .
