Jovanovic: The facing-off Bani Yas is important to continue the series of positive results

Serbian coach Ivan Jovanovic confirmed at the press conference of Al Nasr and Bani Yas in the 10th round of the Arabian Gulf League that the confrontation would be interesting and difficult at the same time because Bani Yas team has many good and experienced players, but Al Nasr has strong determination and motivation to continue the positive results.

Jovanovic added that all the players who were in the national teams have returned to rejoin the team, and Mahmoud Khamis and Jasim Yaqoob began a separate program of individual training in preparation for joining the main list of the team.

Jovanovic confirmed the absence of Mohammed Al Akberi from the forthcoming Bani Yas match. The player had left for Germany to visit his brother Ahmad Al Akberi. Jovanovic added that the most important thing for him these days was the return of goalkeeper Ahmed Shambeh after the surgery as the player had already started the rehabilitation program and individual exercises.

Jovanovic added that the team's performance has improved significantly compared to the beginning of the season and players has well adapted. Although the statistics of the two teams confirm the superiority of Al Nasr, but we do not look at the statistics because each game is different from the other and have their own circumstances, Ivan stressed that he does not look at the past and is always prepared for each game according to its circumstances.

In his view of Al Nasr's  participation in the qualifying to the Asian champions League, Jovanovic said that all Asian confrontations are difficult and all teams are strong, stressing his confidence in the players and the team will progress to advanced stages in the tournament, the priority and focus now only on the League and Cup matches.

For his part, Brazilian player Marcinios said that he considers his experience in the UAE with the AL Nasr team a very good experience, adding that the start was not good but there is improvement and progress in the level with each round, and his experience in the Saudi league had a significant impact in his participation with Al Nasr for the similarity between the UAE and Saudi league, unlike the difference between the Brazilian and the UAE league.

Marcinios confirmed that the league is still at the beginning and Al Nasr has the determination to compete and reach at the top of the league, keeping in view the results and significant progress in the performance of the team.
