Al Nasr defeated Emirates 3-1 at the Al Maktoum Stadium in the 21st round match of the Arabian Gulf League.
The game started with an equal start between the two teams, Al Nasr perfroemd better in terms of attacks percentage, but without real threat.
In the 27th minute, an opportunity came for Al Nasr when Fernandez missed a surprise shot which was cleared by Emirates defense to a corner kick, followed by a strong header from Dutra, which was saved by the goalkeeper. Al Nasr's attempts continued before the referee released his whistle announcing the end of the first half which ended in a draw between the two teams.
In the second half Al Nasr team intensified the attacks and pressure on the Emirates and succeede to get a penalty kick in the 60th minute when Emirates goalkeeper committed an offense against the player Rashid Omar, Fernandez sent the ball calmly into the bottom corner, making it 1-0 for the home side, six minutes later, Habib Al Fardan managed to add the second goal for Al Nasr by a superb header from Mahmoud Khamis's cross. Al Fardan came back in the 75th minute and scored his second and third goal with a powerful shot for Al Nasr.
After the third goal, Al Nasr dominated full control over the game, in the last minutes of the game Emirates team managed to score through Saber Khalifa the only goal in the stoppage time, which ended the game by Al Nasr's 3-1 victory against the Emirates.
