Al Nasr defeated Al Wahda 3-0 at Al Maktoum Stadium in the 17th round match of the Arabian Gulf League on Thursday, the victory takes Al Nasr to the sixth spot with 27 points.
Al Nasr entered the match with a formation consisting of Ahmed Shambieh in the goalkeeper, in front of him the four defense players Rashid Omar, Mohamed Ayed, Glaubir Lima and Mohand Khamis, and in the middle trio Tariq Ahmed, Esteban Paviz and Antonio Touzia, behind the attacking trio Mohammed Al Akbari, Brandley Quas and Alvaro Negredo.
The first minutes of the match were characterized by parity between the two teams in the acquisition, while the preference was the attack throughout the first half in the interest of the Al Nasr, as they launched their first attack in the ninth minute after several short passes by the attackers, before Kuwas's hit the ground ball which goalkeeper cleaered it away to a corner kick, Al Nasr players especially the trio Kuwas, Touze and Muhannad Khamis, relied on shooting from outside the region to achieve the goal of progress, in the 18th minute Al Nasr scored 1st goal in the match after great tactical passes ended by Mohamed Al Akbari in the Al Wahda goal, and in the 43rd minute, after several wonderful short passes between the Al Nasr players, Alvaro Negredo managed to enhance the result in the interest of Al Nasr with a second goal, ending the first half with the Al Nasr advancing with two goals without response.
And in the second half, after 5 minutes of kick off, Touze sent a wonderful long pass to fellow Brandley Kuwas, who managed to score nicely in the Al Wahda goal, Al Nasr coach made the first substitution in the 66th minute by entering Jasim Yaqoub instead of Mohammed Al Akbari to activate the attack in order to enhance the result with a fourth goal, in the 86th minute the referee issued red card to Al Wahda's player Tahnoun Al Zaabi after reffering to the video technology, and then Al Nasr made two substitutions in the remaining time by entering Habib Al Fardan instead of Kuwas and Ahmed Al Attas instead of Negredo, to pass the remaining minutes and the referee ended the game wtih Al Nasr's three goals clean victory.
