As part of the pioneering "Grass" educational initiative presented by the Dubai Sports Council, Al Nasr Club organized today, Tuesday, a lecture for players and administrators of age groups aged 17-14-14 years, entitled "Proper Nutrition", presented by Dr. Aya Al-Nimr via video communication technology.
During the lecture, proper nutrition, especially for football players, was introduced, the basic rules of proper nutrition, the relationship between it and sports activity, and its importance in maintaining health, as choosing a balanced and varied diet as an important step towards achieving a healthy balanced lifestyle, and a healthy diet helps players to Enhance the body's immunity and fitness in general.
The lecture also clarified the necessity of eating healthy food that helps and benefits football players to strengthen muscles, maintain a healthy weight, increase the activity and vitality of the body and provide it with energy.
It listed the foods that are useful to the body and the materials it needs for a healthy growth, and helps football players to perform well.
At the end of the lecture, a discussion session was held on the benefits of healthy nutrition, and the foods that athletes are advised to avoid, questions and inquiries from the audience were answered.
