Al-Nasr Football Company announced the signing of German Thorsten Fink as coach to manage the first football team from next season.
The 54-year-old coach started his football career with Borussia Dortmund, then moved to Karlsruhe and then to Bayern Munich, he retired with the Bavarian team in 2006 to head to work as a coach.
Fink began his coaching career with the youth team in the Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg and coached the Swiss clubs Basel, Hamburg of Germany, APOEL of Cyprus, Austria Vienna of Austria, Visel Kobe of Japan and Riga of Latvia.
During his football career, he has won numerous titles with Bayern Munich. Bundesliga title four times, the Champions League in 2001, the German Cup three times, and the intercontinental cup once.
In the course of his coaching career, he has won three championships with Basel, two Swiss Super League and one Swiss Cup. With Vissel Kobe he won the Emperor's Cup and the Japanese Super Cup.
