Al Nasr qualifies for the quarter-finals of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup through Ajman's gate.
In the second leg of the first stage of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, at Al Maktoum Stadium, Al-Nasr achieved a significant victory over Ajman with a score of 4-1, securing their spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Al-Nasr started the match with the following line-up: Ahmed Shambih, Khalid Jalal, Samir Memisević, Hamdan Al Kamali, Ahmed Jashak, Iuri Medeiros, Manolo Gabbiadini, Kevin Agudelo, Glauber Lima, Adel Taarabt, and Rashid Omar.
Al Nasr opened the scoring early in the first half through Kevin Agudelo, following a pass from Samir Memisevic, which he struck powerfully into Ajman's net in the 11th minute. Iuri Medeiros added the second goal after a precise pass from Adel Taarabt in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Manolo Gabbiadini furthered Al Nasr’s lead with the third goal after he followed up on a free-kick taken by Hamdan Al Kamali. Walid Azaro scored a goal for Ajman in the 35th minute.
In the second half, Al-Nasr continued their offensive and asserted their dominance to confirm their qualification. Manolo Gabbiadini sealed their victory with a powerful left-footed shot from outside the penalty area after a beautiful pass from Adel Taarabt in the 77th minute.
Al-Nasr's players continued their attempts to score more goals, but luck was not on their side, and the match ended with Al Nasr’s winning 4-1.
