The match between Al Nasr and Al Orooba, held at Dibba Stadium in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, ended in a goalless draw. Al Nasr dominated the game but couldn't capitalize on their chances against Al Orooba, who defended resolutely.

The first half saw notable opportunities, including a shot from Adel Taarabt in the 17th minute that narrowly missed the post, and a header from Moussa Ndiaye in the 18th minute. Ndiaye almost scored again in the 40th minute with a powerful shot after a cross from Othman Bou Saeed, but his effort was deflected by an Al Orouba defender.

In the second half, Al Nasr continued to press and intensify their attacks, but luck wasn't on their side. Marouan Azarkan sent in a cross to Moussa NDiaye, who almost headed the ball into Al Orouba's net, but the goalkeeper saved it in the 72nd minute.

Mayed Al-Teneiji tried to score with a powerful left-footed shot in the 81st minute but was unsuccessful. In the 98th minute, Samir Memisevic crossed to Gustavo Alex, who attempted a beautiful bicycle kick, but once again, luck was not in Al Nasr's favor, and the match ended in a goalless draw.

Al Nasr will host Al Orooba in the return leg on September 7 at Al Maktoum Stadium.
