Press Conference for the Al Nasr vs Al Orooba Match in ADNOC Pro League

During the  introductory press conference for Al Nasr vs Al Orooba match in the first round of the ADNOC Pro League, which will be played on Friday, August 23, at Dibba Stadium, our first team head coach, Mr. Alfred Schreuder, discussed the team's preparations for their first match in the ADNOC Pro League. He was accompanied by goalkeeper Abdulla Al Tamimi.

Mr. Schreuder said: "We are happy to see the return of the ADNOC Pro League. We are facing the same team we played against in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup. I expect a similar scenario to the cup match. We are up against a team that relies on defence, closing gaps, and playing on the counterattack. They have good defenders who are fast, and we need to respect the opponent, stay disciplined, be wary of their counterattacks, and score at the first opportunity we get."

He continued, "If we play the same way we did in the previous cup match, I believe we will win and secure 3 points, as we created many chances."

He added, "All the players have integrated well into the team. The performance is good, and we have a squad that gives me many options in each match. I trust the players' ability to achieve victory."

For his part, goalkeeper Abdulla Al Tamimi spoke about the upcoming match against Al Orooba, saying: "As players, we have committed to giving our utmost to appear in a positive light. We prepared well during the training camp, and we have a capable coach who can read the opponent and analyse their performance. The Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup is different because it is played home-and-away, and our focus is on the match, winning, and getting the 3 points."
