Al Nasr FC held a press conference today to discuss the upcoming match against Al Jazira in Round 17 of the ADNOC Pro League. Head coach Alfred Schreuder confirmed that preparations are going well ahead of the game, noting that the final lineup will be determined after tomorrow's final training session.
Regarding absences, Schreuder explained that the team will miss the services of Abdullah Al-Tamimi due to injury, along with Abdullah Idris and Abdulrahman Al-Hamadi, who are tied to loan agreements with Al Jazira. He also mentioned that Harris is still suffering from severe pain following his injury in the match against Al Wasl and has not yet rejoined the team for full training.
Schreuder spoke about the strength of Al Jazira, emphasizing that despite their difficult start to the season, they have improved significantly under their current coach and have become a more dangerous team due to their talented squad. He added, "It will be an exciting match between two teams with similar levels, both playing attacking football and excelling at high pressing."
Meanwhile, Al Nasr goalkeeper Ahmed Shambiah highlighted the difficulty of the upcoming match, saying, "We expect a tough game against a strong opponent, but our goal is to win." He also addressed the fans, saying, "Your presence is always important, and we hope to have your support in the stands to motivate the players and achieve a positive result."
