Al Nasr Club Board of Directors Holds Regular Meeting and Assigns H.E. Humid Al Tayer to Oversee Football Company Affairs

The Board of Directors of Al Nasr Sports Club held its regular meeting, chaired by Eng. Marwan bin Ghalita, Chairman of the Board, and attended by H.E. Humid Ahmed Al Tayer, First Vice Chairman, and H.E. Ibrahim Hussein Al Fardan, Second Vice Chairman, along with board members: Abdulrazzaq Al Hashemi, Mansoor Rahma Al Falasi, Jamal Abdullah Lootah, Marwan Ibrahim Haji Nasser, Hamad Mubarak Buamim, and Qasim Ibrahim Siddiqi.

During the meeting, the board discussed several key issues and files related to the club’s progress across various sectors, as well as ways to enhance institutional operations and improve performance in the coming phase.

As part of the board’s commitment to ensuring the continuity of operations and the management of the Football Company’s affairs for the remainder of the season, it was decided to assign H.E. Humid Ahmed Al Tayer, First Vice Chairman of the Board, to supervise and manage the responsibilities of Al Nasr Football Company until a new board of directors is formed for the company.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the board closely followed the significant fan engagement across social media platforms regarding calls to restore the club’s previous logo, recognizing its symbolic value and deep emotional connection with the loyal "Al Ameed" supporters. The board affirmed its appreciation for the fans' interaction and emphasized that these suggestions are being given the utmost attention, noting that the matter is currently under study in a manner that preserves the club’s identity and honors its rich history.
