Al Nasr refused to give up and snatched a dramatic late draw against Al Wahda.

In an exciting match, Al Nasr secured a deserved 2-2 draw against their guest Al Wahda in Round 21 of the ADNOC Pro League.

“The Brigadier” side needed only a few minutes to impose control, starting the match with strong attacking pressure that led to an early goal in the 3rd minute by Zayed Al Zaabi, confirmed after a VAR review. This goal not only gave Al Nasr the lead but also became the fastest goal in the history of meetings between the two teams in the league.

The second half was dominated by Al Nasr. They controlled the game completely and pinned Al Wahda back in their defensive area with continuous attacks in search of an equalizer. Coach Jokanovic introduced substitutes Doumbia, Caio, and Azarqan to increase the attacking pressure.

Just when it seemed the three points were heading to Abu Dhabi, Malian player Cheickna Doumbia had the final say. In the 90+8 minute, he capitalized on a cross from Mehdi Ghayedi and scored the equalizer, earning Al Nasr a well-deserved point.
