Al-Nasr cadets basketball team was crowned champion of the basketball league after its victory over Sharjah 63-52, in the match that was held at Khorfakkan club hall .The coronation ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency Abdullatif Al Fardan, Vice President of the Emirates Basketball Association, His Excellency Salem Al Mutawa, Secretary General of the Emirates Basketball Association, And Mr. Farid Al-Qaiwani, member of the Board of Directors and head of the Media Committee in the Federation, and members of the technical and administrative staff in the team, where they congratulated the players on the victory, and distributed them the gold medals and the championship cup.

Rashid bin Hamdan Hall in Al-Nasr Club hosted this morning the "Junior Basketball Festival" event for children under 10 years of age, with the participation of 10 clubs that are : Al-Nasr, Al-Wasl, Ittihad Kalba, Maliha, Al Madam, Dibba Al-Hisn, Khorfakkan, Sharjah, Al-Hamriyah and Al-Bataeh.The event was held in a festive atmosphere, during which friendly matches were held between the teams with the aim of developing the skills of young players as they are the cornerstone in the game of basketball, and providing them with the skills necessary to practice the game, and developing the sportsmanship in them so that they get used to playing in the atmosphere of matches in order to highlight the game and spread The culture of basketball practice among children, highlighting their skills and abilities.
At Al-Bataeh club hall, and within the quarter-final matches of the Emirates Basketball League for men, Al-Nasr beat its host Al-Bataeh, with a score of 81-78.
Within the semi-finals of UAE Basketball League for men, and at the Shabab Al-Ahli club hall, in the first leg of the semi-finals ,third stage, Al-Nasr lost to its host Shabab Al-Ahli, with a score of 86-69.Return match is scheduled to be played on 6th of March at Rashid Bin Hamdan Hall.
At Al-Wasl club hall, and within the quarter-final matches of His Highness the President of the State, “may God protect him” for the men’s basket, Al-Nasr team defeated Al-Bataeh 59-67 to qualify to face Sharjah in the semi-finals of the tournament scheduled for Sunday, March 27.
